NAMIB MILLS (PTY) LTD
Namib Mills is the leading miller in Namibia. What started
as a humble milling company in 1982, Namib Mills has grown to
become a world class food manufacturer, being ISO accredited,
and primarily milling maize, wheat and mahangu.
Over the years, Namib Mills has kept abreast with changing
consumer needs and these changes have led to huge investments
into a state of the art pasta manufacturing plant, which not
only created jobs for Namibians but has created and increased
the number of local pasta consumers. In addition to Pasta,
Namib Mills also packs sugar (white and brown), and
distributes rice.
Namib Mills is committed to the country and the growth of the
country’s economy. This is evident from the many investments
made into Namibia, and the subsequent jobs created as a result
of these investments. The company is proud to mention that as
a company in an ever changing and challenging business
environment, Namib Mills currently employs more than 500 staff
members (this number includes salaried, wage and temporary
staff).
Further to this Namib Mills also invests into the social
wellbeing of Namibians, through being an active partner in
many programmes to fight hunger and supporting various welfare
organisations.
As a corporate citizen, the company values its employees,
customers, suppliers, and all other stakeholders. It
recognizes that its future is intertwined with that of
Namibia, and thus works towards keeping abreast and support
